ELA Class

I walked into ELA class. It was quite. I was a little confused. It’s never this quiet. Normally when I walk into ELA people are normally talking hanging out and moved all over the classroom. But not today. Nobody was able to move from their seats. And nobody was talking. The teacher didn’t even tell us to be quite, the teacher walked into the classroom and said” I wish it could always be like this”.

Should Pitbulls be Banned From Certain Places?

 Pitbulls and other aggressive dogs should not be banned from certain places.  Aggressive dogs should not be banned because any dog can become aggressive. They can become aggressive from their owners. And finally, they can become trained not to be aggressive.  Any dog can grow up being aggressive. An owner can be aggressive around a dog causing them to become aggressive like the owner.  Owners can take their dog to a trainer and they can train them not to be so aggressive. Aggressive dogs should not be banned from certain places.

Uniforms?

Should we have uniforms in schools?   I don’t think we should have school uniforms.  If you don’t have a school uniform or don’t know what they are I’ll tell you right now. You might see kids wearing specific clothes unlike other kids. If you do they are wearing a school uniform. Some dress code rules are more specific than others.  Some students might just not be able to wear certain clothes, but other schools make kids wear polo shirts and khaki pants. I don’t not agree with school uniforms. I don’t think we should have tgem at all. For example, people say that it prevents bullying but it really doesn’t because people can still bully you about other things.

Snow Day

     We has a snow day last week on Friday. Since it was Friday we had a three day weekend. It was nice.  But I have heard rumors that we have to makeup the day in the summer, which I don’t want to do.  It was nice that we didn’t have school but the snow was terrible. There was about nine inches of snow on the ground there are still piles out there right now.  The piles in the parking lots are really high too. They look taller than a car. I kind of wish that we didn’t have the snow day that way we didn’t have to make up the day in the summer time. Or make it up on a holiday that we have off.

Captivity?

     Should Killer Whales be kept in captivity? I believe that Killer Whales should not be kept in captivity. They should live in the wild because they live longer.  It says that Killer Whales in the wild live to 50 to 80 years old.  In captivity it says that Killer Whales that have lives at SeaWorld die around 13 years old. They also don’t get to swim in as much space. Coming from swimming in a huge ocean compared to a pool, they don’t have much space to swim. Killer whales could swim around 100 miles every single day. For those reasons I believe that Killer Whales should not be kept in captivity.
