Winter Break

     This year we start winter break after school on December 21. I am so excited. I plan to spend the break relaxing and spending time with my family. I am planning on spending the holidays with my family.  I hope I get no homework or only a little. My goal to stay productive is to try to almost finish my book over the break. I can also be productive by reading five pages every night.  I hope you all spend time with your family. And happy holidays.

Incentive Day

   This week on Thursday we are having an incentive day. You only get the incentive if you went up on two or more of the tests. If you went down on two tests or more then you don’t have the incentive. I have the incentive and I’m planning on going to the open gym. I really wanted to go to the electronic room it is closed and full. Some of the other options are movie room, open gym,board game room, and I think an arts and crafts room. In the movie room you are watching either Cars 3 or How The Grinch Stole Christmas. I choose to go to the open gym because my first pick of going to the electronic room was full and because I have already seen both of the movies before. I also think that the open gym would have been my second pick. I’m so happy that the incentive day is the last day before winter break. It will be fun treat before the long break.

Forgiveness

To have forgiveness means that if something ever happend you would not be mad or upset at the person. For example, if someone had made plans with you and they remember that day that they have something else to do you would be ok and forgive them for it. That is having forgiveness. I believe that I have forgiveness. I tend to not make a big deal if something goes wrong. I know that not everybody is perfect and that people make mistakes. Also that sometimes when people say things that they don’t mean I try to not get to upset about it. Or make a big deal out of it. Forgiveness also means that you are a very understanding person, and that you are not somebody who would over react about the littlest things either.

Honesty

Honesty to me means to tell the truth about something. If you are honest it means that you don’t lie or make up something. For example, if you didn’t wash the dishes you should be honest and say I didn’t wash the dishes. Or if you forget to do your homework, you should tell your teacher that you didn’t do your homework. You shouldn’t make up an excuse either. That would not be having honesty. I think that I am a honest person. For example, if I forgot my ID I would tell my excel teacher. To be honest also means that you don’t really lie or try to get out of a situation, this could also be referred to making an excuse too. Honesty could also mean that you tend to always tell the truth. I think that if somebody is being honest and respectful to me I believe that we could be great friends.

Map Testing

This week starting Tuesday we are starting Map Testing. I’m not excited for testing. I don’t really like  any type of testing. But I really hope to improve in all three subjects. It’s Tuesday and Map testing has officially started. Today we had a math test. I think I did very well. I improved my score from before. Tomorrow is reading and Thursday is language. It’s Wednesday I also went up in the Reading test. I am so proud of myself. I hope I go up tomorrow in the Language test.

Slice of Life

This weekend I went to the KristKrindle Market in Naperville. I went with my mom,dad and brother. It was very beautiful. They had stands where you could buy hot chocolate, food, or clothing and many more things. They also had a big beautiful tree. While we were walking around people were passing out these glasses. When you put the glasses on you could see snowman on almost anywhere that had a light bulb. When we walking around, we stopped to get some food. I got a cinnamon roasted almonds. They were very good. I recommend that you go see all the beautiful lights and tree.

SUPERHERO

My superhero is a girl and her name is Angie. She is 22 years old and she is a professional runner. She runs marathons, 5ks,10ks, 15ks. Angie is from the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee. She is an only child. Angie is a personal trainer, she makes 750,000 dollars a year. Angie is a very fit person. Angie is also six foot one and weighs 135 pounds. She has dark brown eyes with brown hair. She dresses very casually and her hobbies are running. One mental illness that she has is that she feels the need to stop during races. She feels that she is a good girl. She thinks that people feel that she is nice and friendly. Angie is very self confident in herself. The most embarrassing thing that could happen to her is if she slips or falls in front of all the other people. In life Angie wants to succeed in running and she is happy when she wins races. She is not very judgmental about people but she is very stingy. She is also normally polite to people. She does believe in god. As a superhero Angie saves people from falling buildings. No one actually knows that is a superhero.

My Avatar

This is my avatar. It has a very similar eye color like mine. The hair is also similar. My avatar looks kind of like me, but it is still very different from what I really look like but I think it is close to what I really do look like. I think that the hair looks closest to what I look like.

Funniest Story

One of the funniest moments of my life happened last summer. Me and my family went outside ,to do yard work. That was our first summer with our dog. That was also when she was a puppy. She loved running around the backyard. So one day it was all muddy from the day before but we still had yardwork to do. We brought my dog outside with us. That was a big mistake. She ran all around the yard getting all dirty and muddy. Then she rolled all in the mud it was so funny. And she went inside with mud all over her.

The Tough Turkey 🦃

  There once lived a tough turkey. He wasn’t really tough. At all. Just because his name has tough in it doesn’t mean he’s always tough. He was very annoying he would always come up to other turkeys and scare them. He would sneak up behind them and go GOBBLE GOBBLE GOBBLE. Until one day he was getting ready to scare Henry but Henry scared him before the tough turkey could scare Henry. “Excuse me, what do you think you are doing” said Henry. “Um I just um WAHHHHH” and the tough turkey who wasn’t so tough ran away. But that doesn’t mean his scaring days were over.

Goals

  One goal that I have for second quarter is to write more on my blogs. I would really love to add more details onto blog posts. My goal is to write about 9-10 sentences per blog post. One other goal is to try to publish my blogs earlier. So instead of publishing them on Thursday or Friday I will try to publish them on maybe Wednesday. I am also trying to read more. Right now I am working on reading more in my book. I would like to read about 15 pages everyday. Those are my second quarter goals.

The Green Alien

  There once lived a green alien. He was very strange. He lives on a planet called Earth. This Earth planet has lots of water and land. One day the green alien decided to go outside. He had never been outside before this was going to be an adventure. So the green alien walked outside and saw this fast car zooming down the road. AHHHHH the green alien screamed, and he ran right back inside. About two hours later he decided to go back outside but braver this time. Th green alien walked down the block then he heard a sound BARK BARK BARK. The green alien had no clue what to do so, he ran back inside the house. He thought for sure he was not going back outside. And he didn’t. The end.

Gratitude

 Gratitude means to be thankful for someone or something. I am thankful for my parents being able to give me food to eat everyday. I am thankful for this because some people are not able to have food everyday. So I feel very greatful for that. I am also very greatful for having access to a good education. I am greatful for having this because many other people are not able to access a good education. I am very greatful for everything that I have. That is what gratitude means to me.

My Favorite Animal

My favorite animal is a dolphin. I think dolphins are very cool because they are underwater animals. Dolphins are mammals that live underwater. Bottle nose dolphins are one most common dolphin. A common place they can be found is in rivers and coastal areas near the southern Untied States. Dolphins can die when they are trapped in a net. Dolphins travel in schools or pods these are basically groups. A female will lead the group. Many dolphins are normally black or gray.

My Favorite Country

  Mexico is my favorite country. Mexico is my favorite country because of the beach’s and the weather. I like the beaches because you could just go there and relax in front of the nice pretty ocean water. I also like Mexico because the weather doesn’t get to cold during the day.  In many pictures of the beachfronts in Mexico you can see how beautiful the water is. Whenever I look at some of the pictures it makes me just want to read a good book by the water. During the wet months it rains almost once per day. The rain normally is less than a couple hours.

Happiest Day Ever

 The happiest day ever was when we started Christmas break last year.  I was so excited to start it. Christmas break is my favorite break because it is the longest. And Christmas and New Years Day are also in between the break. I also love Christmas break because I see my family all the time during the break.  Christmas break last year started on a Friday after school. I got home and did absolutely nothing all day. That was my happiest day ever.

Greatest Achievement

 My greatest achievement was adopting a dog with my family. We adopted our dog from a shelter. We got her about two years ago. I was so happy when I saw her for the first time because I was so happy and so was she. We adopted her when she was a puppy. Once we got her we knew she was going to have a better life. When we got her they put a red bandanna around her neck . They also gave us a collar and a leash for her. That was my greatest achievement.

Singer vs Writer

   I would rather be a Singer. I would rather be a singer because as singer I feel that I would have more fun. As a singer I could travel around the world. I could go to different countries ,different states and many more. As a writer I can't really travel. The only places I would travel are local states and cites. I think singing would be better for me than writing because I don't like writing to much. So I would rather be a writer.

The Best Food

  My favorite food is marinara sauce with noodles. I love it because it is so easy to make. All you have to do is warm up the sauce and make the noodles. See not hard at all. I also love it not just because it is easy to make, but it tastes good too. This is a meal that is perfect if you are in a hurry. And if you are hungry. It doesn't take much take much time to make. Just warm up the sauce and make the noodles. And you have a good meal made in less than 25 minutes.

News This Week

 This week a devastating event happened known as the Las Vegas Shooting. The shooting was in Las Vegas, Nevada. The shooting happened at a country music festival. The shooters name is Stephen Paddock. The shooting by this one person caused 58 people to die and 489 people injured. The Las Vegas police said that they have found 50 pounds of explosives at the hotel parking lot. The man had also had 1,600 rounds of ammo inside of his car. He had 23 weapons inside the hotel. The hotel was  Bandalay Bay hotel suite.

If I Was President

  If I was president I would be president of the United States. I would be president of the United States because I think that as a country the United States shows that they care for each other. For example, during Hurricane Harvey many people went to Texas to help out everyone who needed help. When I am president I will set up homeless shelters in every state to help out those who don't have homes. I would also not build a wall to separate different countries. I would also make a law that every month people will have to pay a minimum of $5. The money would be donated to the homeless shelter, animal charity's As president I would also make every shelter a no kill shelter. If I find out that someone is killing wild animals they will be given a warning, if they get two warning they will go to court.  We would try to help as my wild animals that are hurt or injured. I would set up programs to help the wild and nature. That is what I would do in my time as president.

A Slice About My Life

  Today I woke up and got ready for school. I walked into school. The floor looked very shinny. It had also looked like if someone had just moped it. I had walked in with many other students in front and in back of me. The first thing I noticed was some students selling "kindness is the new cool" bracelets. They were red and the words were in black.I went into the gym and sat down with my friends. It was very cold.We weren't in the gym long until the told us that it was time to go. We got got up and went to our lockers. As I was walking down the hall I heard other students talking. I opened my locker and grabbed all my stuff for my next class.  I went to excel it was also very cold in excel too, they took attendance and breakfast, and soon enough it was already time to go to block one.

Digital Citizenship

  A digital citizen is someone who posts responsibility and appropriately.  We can be a better digital citizen by not posting inappropriate content. We should also not talk about anyone negatively.  As a digital citizen we should also not cyber bully anyone.  We should also give credit where credit is due. You should give when credit when you are writing some type of news article, because you got the information from somewhere, so you should give them credit. You should also never copy information from someone else. You should never put your own personal information on the internet or someone else's. That is what a digital citizen is to me.

My Dog

My dogs name is Madison, she is a Jack Russell Terrier mix. She has a tanish brown color with a little bit of white by her chest and on her paws. She has lots of toys and bones to chew on. She also has lots of tennis balls. Her cage is filled with tennis balls and they are all different colors.

We Movement

      The We movement is a movement about people who want to change the world. Is also makes you think from Me to We.  They do things like making and building schools in Kenya.  They gather people to do things like this and many more. News Last Week

  Last week we remember a very sad but important event known as 9/11.  9/11 happend on September 11 2001, that is why it is called 9/11.  So what happend was there 4 planes, two crashed into the Twin Towers or the World Trade Center. One plane also hit the pentagon and the other one crashed into a field in Pennsylvania.  The plane that crashed in Pennsylvania killed 44 people. The 19 people who hijacked the planes also died.

   Hurricane Irma killed 24 people in the Caribbean. Hurricane Irma was a category 5 going threw the Caribbean. The winds were 185 mph. Help by donating.
